At Amonite, we are Rodrigo and Julieta, two tourism enthusiasts who, after years of training and experience in different areas of the sector, decided to make our dream come true: to create an agency that combines our dedication with the desire to provide unique experiences to each traveler.
The name Ammonite was not chosen at random. Ammonites were marine mollusks that inhabited the oceans more than 400 million years ago, during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic periods. They shared their time on Earth with the dinosaurs, but disappeared in the Cretaceous mass extinction 66 million years ago.
For us, ammonites symbolize adaptation, diversity and a deep legacy in the history of the Earth. Living in a region so rich in paleontological heritage, we felt that this name was the perfect reflection of our identity. Just as the ammonite left its mark on the past, at our agency we want to leave an indelible mark on the memories of each person who chooses us.
